DEAR FRIENDS OF SPICE

Spring is in the air here at Spice Island Beach Resort - though it's only about four degrees warmer than winter here in Grenada, and our tropical flora is in bloom virtually all year round.

Then again, spring means so much more than changing weather, doesn't it?

Spring is about renewal. In nature, particularly in the North American and European markets from which many of our guests originate, the cycle of life is reborn in the spring.

It's also the time of year most of us go through our closets and do our "spring cleaning." And while Spice Island Beach Resort is always kept in immaculate condition, for us, spring cleaning takes on a different meaning.

For Spice Island Beach Resort, spring arrives just as our busy season ends and is the perfect time for us to come together as a team to evaluate our hospitality.

We've won some truly inspiring awards over the last year - including our prestigious ranking as the #1 hotel in the Caribbean based on TripAdvisor reviews - but that doesn't mean we get to rest on our laurels. Instead, we renew our commitment to our guests by continuing to focus on ways to make your stay even more memorable.

Rewarding our employees is a big part of this - and you'll read about some of our shining stars in this newsletter. You'll also read about some of the ways we've renewed our commitment to our local community here in Grenada.

So as you read on, please keep this "renewal" theme in mind. And remember, when you're in need of your own personal rejuvenation, your friends and family at Spice Island Beach Resort will be here to welcome you with open arms.

Chairman, Spice Island Beach Resort

"I feel really good!" said the long-serving supervisor with 15 years of service. "I was not expecting anything because when I go to work, I don't work for any awards. But once you work hard and meet deadlines and maintain the standard, that is what will be the result," Mr Mitchell further explained. Read More >>

WHY THEY RETURN

The Foxwells, Somerset, United Kingdom

Back in 1996, we originally tried to book another hotel in Grenada but couldn't get in. Our second choice was this hotel. As soon as the door opened to our room, we fell in love with the size of the pool, the privacy, the tranquillity, and that one can also go out on to the stunningly beautiful beach. Read More >>
